MEMBERSHIP TERMS

MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the membership options offered by Golfzon Social. They are non-transferable and redeemable exclusively at the Golfzon Social location associated with the purchase (i.e., Brooklyn NY, Scarsdale NY, Oak Brook IL or West Nyack NY). These Terms outline the rights and obligations of members (“Members”) and Golfzon Social.

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS: Golfzon Social offers two annual membership options: These membership options are subdivided into two tiers, namely Fairway Membership and a Champion Membership. Each tier offers varying benefits and pricing structures.

PAYMENT OPTIONS: Members have the flexibility to choose between monthly reoccurring automatic payments or lump sum payment options for their selected membership tier.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION: Members may cancel their membership with Golfzon Social by providing a 30-day notification period to the respective location’s General Manager.

RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Golfzon Social reserves the right to modify membership benefits, pricing, and terms at its discretion, with prior notification to Members. Members are responsible for adhering to the rules and regulations set forth by Golfzon Social and the respective location. Members are obligated to use the facilities and services provided by Golfzon Social in a responsible manner, respecting other Members and staff.

RENEWAL: Annual Memberships automatically renew unless canceled by the Member or the Golfzon Social General Manager.

TERMINATION: Golfzon Social reserves the right to terminate a member’s membership in the event of breach of these Terms or any misconduct detrimental to the interests of Golfzon Social or its Members.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Member and Golfzon Social regarding the membership options offered and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether oral or written. By purchasing a membership with Golfzon Social, Members acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions.  Golfzon Social reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, and such amendments shall be effective upon posting on Golfzon Social’s website or notification to Members via email or other means of communication.

GOLFZON SOCIAL | SURFSIDE 19TH HOLE TOURNAMENT RULES & REGULATIONS

GOLFZON Social, LLC (“GOLFZON”) located at 3863 Centerview Drive Suite #300 in Chantilly, VA 20151, is the sponsor of this golf competition, called the GOLFZON Social Summer Tournament Series, in which individual participants at the GOLFZON Social Scarsdale 691 Central Park Avenue, Scarsdale, NY 10583, GOLFZON Social Brooklyn 15 Hoyt Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 and GOLFZON Social Chicago 3041 Butterfield Rd #104, Oak Brook, IL 60523 (each a “Host Facility”) will compete remotely against one another on GOLFZON Simulators in a virtual golf tournament using simulated golf courses starting on June 22, 2026 and ending on September 4, 2026 (“Tournament Period”) for  cash prizes in accordance with these Rules & Regulations, the Participant Behavior Code and Competition Rules (the “Tournament”). NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THE TOURNAMENT; but participants are responsible to pay standard fees for their use of simulator hitting bays imposed by the host facilities. THIS CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. GOLFZON reserves the right, at any time, to cancel, suspend, or postpone the Tournament. Similarly, GOLFZON reserves the right to modify the contest and/or these Rules & Regulations in response to circumstances that are not in the reasonable control of GOLFZON, such as in the event of laws and regulations. All participants must be eighteen (18) years or older by the beginning of Qualifier Events (as defined below).

TOURNAMENT SERIES

Contact the relevant Host Facility to learn more about that Host Facility’s rules and eligibility requirements. All participants must be legal residents of the national/state/provincial jurisdictions of one (1) of the approved Host Facilities; however, the contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. NCAA athletes may have additional restrictions and must contact the tournament organizers to ensure NCAA compliance. NCAA compliance is the sole responsibility of the Participant.

Each Host Facility will independently host, manage, promote, and referee, a competition scored through GOLFZON Store Manager (GSM) created by GOLFZON for the purpose of determining the top three participants with the lowest gross score (no handicap) in accordance with these Rules and Regulations; Employees of GOLFZON are not eligible to participate. Participants must complete the Individual Participation Waiver and must login to their GOLFZON Account during the Tournament Period and play the Tournament Course selected that week. Participants may play the individual courses an unlimited number of times during the week they are available during the Tournament Period and only their best score shall be recorded for each week. Failure to play the Tournament Course in a given week will result in disqualification.

At the conclusion of the Tournament Period, each participant’s best score for each weekly Tournament Course shall be combined and the participants with the with the three lowest scores shall receive a prize, as set forth below. In the event of a tie, priority must be determined by each affected Participant playing a round on the same course within seven (7) days of the end of the Tournament Period, the lowest scoring participant shall win. If there is still a tie after the additional round, priority must be determined by comparing the scores from the back 9, back 6, and back 3 holes of the additional round are compared in order. If there is still a tie, scores will be compared hole by hole starting from the 18th hole to the 1st hole, Final scores will be posted on GSM.

Prize Money: The participant with the lowest gross score shall receive one thousand dollars (USD $1000). The participant with the second-lowest gross score shall receive five hundred dollars (USD $500).  The participant with the third-lowest gross score shall receive two hundred and fifty dollars (USD $250). GOLFZON has the sole right and authority to determine the winning team, and eligibility to receive prize money, in accordance with these Rules & Regulations and all applicable laws. GOLFZON is responsible for the payment of all prize money in accordance with these Rules & Regulations. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, the payment of all prize money is subject to compliance by the participant with all terms and conditions of the Participant Waiver and these Rules & Regulations. Awards of prize money shall be subject to GOLFZON’s timely receipt of timely funds transmission information and may be subject to GOLFZON’s receipt of a 1099 or other similar documentation. The prize money is inclusive of all taxes, fees, and other charges; and participants are responsible for the reporting and payment of all taxes that may be due on amounts received. In the event that any prize money is waived or forfeited by a particular participant, such prize money shall not be distributed to the next lowest scoring participant, and shall be forfeited.

COMPETITION RULES

  1. Equipment: Participants may only use United States Golf Association (USGA) approved golf equipment and must not start a round with more than fourteen (14) clubs. Participants may not adjust their equipment mid round. If a participant breaks a club, they may replace it with a substantially similar club. Participants must use the balls provided by the applicable Host Facility and may not tamper with the balls in any way. Participants may not bring their own golf balls. If a club is adjusted during the round, it must be returned to its original setting before playing another stroke.  If a club is damaged during a round the club may be replaced but not by borrowing a club from another competitor. Participants must not share clubs.
  2. Artificial Devices. A Participant must not set an object down to help with aiming or to help with taking a stance for the stroke (Using an alignment stick or a club on the ground is not permitted). A Participant must not use a device to listen to music or other audio to eliminate distractions or help with swing tempo. The use of any swing training aid is not permitted.
  3. Settings: Simulator settings shall be standardized for all participants by GOLFZON and participants may not change the settings. Participants must report any improper settings to the Host Facility or GOLFZON officials, as applicable.
  4. Rules Questions: GOLFZON will have the authority to make all final interpretations and determinations under these Rules & Regulations. In accordance with Rules & Regulations and as otherwise set forth herein, GOLFZON, shall have the sole and exclusive authority to apply and enforce these Rules & Regulations throughout the Tournament and shall, where necessary, make decisions regarding the interpretation of these Rules & Regulations. GOLFZON reserves the right, in accordance with these Rules & Regulations, to investigate, adjudicate and resolve any individual participant disciplinary matters that arise in connection with the Tournament. The decisions of GOLFZON shall in all cases be final.
  5. Gender and Course Length Determinations: The Tournament is open to participants of all sexes and gender identities.  Participants whose biological sex is female at birth shall have the option to participate from designated tees selected to result in a total course length that is approximately 85% of the length played by other participants, as determined by GOLFZON. GOLFZON will have the authority to make case by case determinations on whether participants qualify for the shorter course length.
  6. Participant Release & Waiver: As a condition of entry, each Participant must sign GOLFZON’s separate Participant Release & Waiver, and GOLFZON must receive such signed Participant Release & Waiver from each Participant prior to participation Without limiting anything in the Participant Release & Waiver, each Participant understands that by participation, such Participant (i) acknowledges that such Participant has given consent to GOLFZON to use such Participant’s name, image, and likeness for commercial purposes.
  7. Medical Authorization: Each Participant hereby authorizes medical personnel engaged by the Host or by GOLFZON to provide medical or diagnostic services in the event a Participant becomes ill or sustains an injury in connection with his/her participation in the Tournament.
  8. No Manipulation of Results: Neither the Host nor any Participant may (i) take any action designed to manipulate the results of any individual match or to manipulate any Tournament bracket; or (ii) participate or assist in any activities associated with the Tournament that violate U.S. federal gambling laws or the gambling laws of the city, state, province, or nation having jurisdiction over such activities.
  9. Account Usage: Participants must not log in and play using another person’s ID for qualification or competition purposes. If caught, this will be considered a violation of the rules against ID theft and proxy play, which would lead to disqualification. Participants must only use their own ID, and proxy play may result in being referred to the disciplinary committee, potentially leading to future disqualification in competition participation.
  1. Tournament Cancellation: In case of natural disasters or circumstances at the venue that make it impossible to proceed with the tournament, GOLFZON will decide whether to hold over or finalize the current tournament results.
  1. Use of Practice Tools: Practice tools used for anything other than stretching (such as practice swings) will result in penalties. (1st violation: 2-stroke penalty, 2nd violation: disqualification).
  2. Golf Balls: Participants must use the golf ball provided in the bay that comes through the auto-tee.  No changing and/or marking the golf balls.  If the ball is damaged, remove that ball and have the auto-tee refeed the next ball in the simulator.  Participants may request up to a maximum of three (3) replacement golf balls for any one (1) shot by refeeding the ball. Participants must play only with the golf balls provided by the Host Facility or GOLFZON and may not mark such balls nor keep such balls for future shots (all balls must be fed by the auto tee in the normal course).
  3. Playing Surface: Participants must play each shot out of the appropriate surface as directed and displayed by the GOLFZON simulator.  Playing from the wrong surface will result in a launch penalty applied by the Simulator.
  4. Mulligans: Except in the event of a malfunction or other disruption to play and with the approval of the Host Facility, there shall be no mulligans used. Participants that have used a mulligan without approval may lose the hole or round, or be disqualified.

Participant Behavior

GOLFZON has established the following Participant Behavior Code. If a Participant violates the behavior code, GOLFZON may impose penalties based on the severity of the violation. If the same behavior code is violated multiple times during the tournament or if additional violations occur, the next level of penalty will be imposed.

Article 1: Behavior

  • If a Participant’s behavior falls under the following categories, the Committee may apply penalties as outlined in Article 4:
    • Repeated use of abusive language
    • Damaging or throwing clubs
    • Engaging in disrespectful or offensive behavior towards other Participants, competition officials, spectators, or staff
    • Damaging tournament facilities or the course (e.g., bunker mats)
    • Engaging in violence, or smoking at the tournament venue (considered extremely improper behavior)
    • Using electronic devices (e.g., mobile phones) during the tournament is permitted and must be in silent mode
    • Offering or accepting advice in contravention of the rules
    • Repeatedly violating tournament rules (more than twice is considered extremely improper behavior)

Article 2: Attire

  • Participants must dress neatly and in accordance with any specific dress code regulations for the Host Facilities.

Article 3: Participant Friends, Family and Spectators

  • Friends or family of Participants and spectators must also dress neatly and comply with any dress code regulations for the Tournament.

Article 4: Penalties

  • If a ruling is required regarding the behavior code, the relevant committee will determine whether a violation has occurred, and the decision will be final.
    • Step 1: Warning
    • Step 2: General Penalty (2-stroke penalty)
    • Step 3 or Extremely Improper Behavior: Disqualification
    • Note: Violations occurring between holes or rounds will have penalties applied to the next hole or round.

Article 5: Committee Decision

  • GOLFZON will determine whether any behavior code violation constitutes “extremely improper behavior,” and their decision will be final. If GOLFZON believes the violation warrants referral to the Disciplinary Committee, they must submit a written report to the tournament organizing committee.

Important Information

  • Please ensure that you review the tournament guidelines before participating.
  • You must complete all designated tournament holes after logging in to be considered as having properly participated in the tournament.
  • Winners are responsible for any taxes related to the prizes, and additional verification of personal information is required for tax reporting purposes. (GOLFZON will contact you separately for personal information verification. If you are unreachable after two attempts or if your contact information is unclear, your prize will be forfeited.)
  • Prizes cannot be exchanged and will only be sent as specified according to the final results.
  • Duplicate awards are not allowed.
  • If there is no address, funds transmission information, or contact information when verifying member information for prize delivery, the stipend or prize will be forfeited. Prize money will not be re-sent if returned due to inaccurate information.
  • The final list of winners will be officially announced by GOLFZON after final inspection, and may differ from the winners displayed on the event or tournament page. (Misuse of ID, proxy participation, etc., will be considered fraudulent and will result in disqualification).
  • Participants will be excluded from the awards in the following cases:
    1. If someone other than the participant played on their behalf or if the participant’s identity cannot be verified.
    2. If any form of cheating, interference with other Participants, manipulation of equipment, or any behavior contrary to sportsmanship is detected.
    3. If any attempt is made to exploit loopholes in the tournament rules to unlawfully claim prizes or awards.
    4. If rounds are played improperly, all awards will be forfeited.
    5. If it is deemed that the participant is otherwise unsuitable for awards, or if there are issues not specifically mentioned, GOLFZON’s terms of service and tournament guidelines will apply.
    6. For any other reasons expressly set forth in the Rules and Regulations.
  • The tournament period, content, and prizes may be changed with a separate notice depending on GOLFZON’s and the Host Facility’s circumstances.
  • GOLFZON is not liable for any losses or failure to achieve expected gains due to the participant’s own reasons.
